We do too. That's why we created Backyard Cinema Rentals.
We're the Tomlinson family, Donovan, Lorie, and Avery, and for the past eight years, we've been proud to call Westchase home. Like many of you, we've watched our community grow and evolve, but we've also noticed something missing: those magical moments when neighbors become friends, when families put down their devices and reconnect, when the simple act of watching a movie together becomes an unforgettable memory.
Our Origin
How It All Started
Every great story has an origin, and ours began on a warm summer evening in our own backyard.
We had set up a simple projector and invited a few neighbors over for movie night. As the sun set and the stars emerged, something magical happened. Kids who usually had their faces buried in tablets were laughing together. Adults who typically exchanged quick waves were sharing stories. Our backyard had transformed into something more than just a space, it had become a destination for connection.

And so, Backyard Cinema Rentals was born.
We invested in professional-grade equipment, the kind that delivers crystal-clear 4K images on a massive 200-inch screen, immersive audio that makes you feel like you're in a real theater, and versatile entertainment options including gaming and karaoke. But more importantly, we invested in a mission: to bring neighbors together, to elevate celebrations, and to help families rediscover the joy of outdoor entertainment.
